Q&A - Traffic Light Timing

I am wondering what is the minimum time a traffic light must give when changing from green to red?

Documents

The Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure's web site contains documents describing signal timing standards.

Generally, the Institute of Transportation Engineers plays a part in setting the standards which regional governments adopt and then modify to suit local circumstances and policies.
