This case examines a collision between a cyclist, Kyle Ilett, and a driver, Leah Buckley, at the intersection of Admirals Road and Seenupin Road in Esquimalt, B.C. Mr. Ilett was riding northbound on the shoulder of Admirals Road nearing Seenupin Road. The shoulder was marked by a single solid white line on both sides of the road.

To brief you in the story: was driving my car without a front license plate. It appears that sometimes you don't get what you pay for. A class action lawsuit in the US against Osram Sylvania over the advertised claims for their Silver Star headlight bulbs was successful. This case concerns liability for a collision between a driver and a pedestrian at a traffic circle. The pedestrian was using a cellphone as she approached the traffic circle and began to cross in the marked crosswalk. The driver failed to see the pedestrian who was visible and collided with her.
Question: I live in a cul de sac and I have always parallel parked on the street in front of my home. My neighbour is insisting I angle park so that it will allow an additional parking space in front. In my opinion angle parking would be contrary to section 190 of the Motor Vehicle Act. Am I correct or can we angle park in the cul de sac?

In many cases you can apply to lower the fine so that it is more appropriate for your circumstances without having to set foot in traffic court. When the fine cannot be reduced or you need both a reduction and time to pay, that can be accomplished as well.
