I was travelling through Alexis Creek where I was stopped and ticketed for speeding. The officer alleges I was traveling at 104kph in a 60kph zone. I couldn't be sure exactly the speed I was going but would have to defer to the officer's superior measuring equipment. ;-)

In Parksville, around the Oceanside Middle School, the school zone sign remains up during the summer. It states the speed to be 30 km/h and underneath a sign says "school days." Other areas do not have the notation of "school days" but do leave up their 30 km/h sign during the summer in the Oceanside area.

Recently I was on Highway 97 proceeding north and about to enter Westbank when a car exiting the connector highway, 97C, came abreast of me on my right. We were in a “dead heat,” as it were, with neither vehicle as much as a car’s length ahead of the other. I felt that I had the right of way and continued at the same speed. The other car merged after me, repeatedly sounding her horn.

My son received a traffic ticket from the police for driving without insurance and driving without a driver's licence. He was riding a bicycle that he has attached a small gas motor to and I think that this is a motor assisted cycle, not a motorcycle. If I am right, he doesn't need a licence or insurance and the police should not have issued the ticket. He has driven past police road checks with this cycle and none of them stopped him and told him that it was not legal. They should have done this first and not given him a ticket.

I was driving along no.6 in Richmond with a girlfriend and reached into my bag for smokes and an oncoming car came so I swerved a bit to the right and hit a hydro pole because it was so close to the shoulder and I ended up into a ditch. I wasn't speeding, it was a single car collision and nobody got hurt. Needless to say the car was a total loss.

Is there an age restriction for children sitting in the front seat? My child is 11 and always sits in the back, but at what age can he sit in the front without harm from the airbag, etc?

Question: I got a speeding ticket in Vancouver at the Georgia Viaduct. There were about 3-4 cars driving in front of my 5 ton truck when I got onto the viaduct from downtown. About 200-300 meters away the road forks into two, one to Prior and the other to Main.

Question: Our organization’s main office is located on a high traffic street with a playground across the street. Despite sign postings and increased police presence we are still having issues with people speeding up and down this small stretch of the street.

I am wondering if you could shed some light on my situation, I own a 1990 Nissan 240sx, that usually gets 1-3 VI's a year, usually box 1's but the occasional box 2.

Long story short, my brother made a mistake and now my mother's car is in vehicle impound. He went out last night with some of his roommates, had a drink or 2 and ended up doing something incredibly stupid.
