I have a trailer that is rated at 10,000 lbs. It is a pintle hook setup and we have two safety chains. What size is required? We would never be carrying anything over 4000 lbs on the trailer.

Is a Police officer also an inspector under the motor vehicle regulations? For noisy exhausts it is the opinion of the inspector that seems to critical in determining whether the vehicle exhaust is too noisy.

So it would be great if a police officer could issue a ticket or a notice to correct just based on their opinion, which should be just more useful than trying to do decibel testing.

So I recently got my letter from the superintendent informing me of my unsatisfactory driving record, and that I will be prohibited from driving for 3 months. The change was from (possibly) a half second to a full second – meaning all the lights would be red for this amount of time.

Question: I operate a 14 passenger Ford Econoline E350 van, which is registered both as a driving school vehicle, and a bus. Government inspection rules appear strict (as they should be) for this type of vehicle, used in these circumstances. I am required to be tested twice a year at designated inspection facilities.

I often sit in a left hand turn controlled lane with 10 or more cars, all of us with our left turn indicators flashing away. We eventually drive through the left hand turn under the control of the left hand turn signal, still with our flashers clicking away.

Question: I have been trying to find specifics on what is the difference between off road lights and driving lights. All I can see is the indicator of SAE-Y on the lens, is this the only difference?
