CarFit is an educational program operated in a partnership between the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists and the Canadian Automobile Association. Originally designed to offer older adults the opportunity to check how well their personal vehicles "fit" them, drivers of any age may benefit.
Older drivers are more likely to be injured or killed in a collision because their bodies have become fragile over time. Proper adjustment of the vehicle's equipment can provide increased safety for both the driver and other road users.
The 12 point checklist takes about 20 minutes to complete and provides you with recommended adjustments and adaptations to insure a proper "fit" to insure maximum safety benefits.

I remember these guys. These guys were great. Its through these guys that I got a head start on the differences and proper techniques between ABS braking and non-ABS breaking. We stumbled upon on of their events they were holding, this one was on the PNE grounds off season and asked if we could join in on whatever was going on. They said yes and that was it. The full day the spent getting comprehensive driver training for free. It was a blast. Wish they still did it. They really made a difference.
