Wondering how long you must have an interlock device installed in BC if you have had two impaired convictions? all i can find is 12 months? is that correct?
The maximum amount of time for one instance of the Ignition Interlock Program appears to be 24 months, but that can be extended by another occurrence that triggers an interlock requirement. That period is added to the end of the current time.
This is all set out in Division 46 of the Motor Vehicle Act Regulations and is administered by RoadSafetyBC.
