I was recently in a critical accident involving horses and traffic. Myself and a friend were riding our horses up Holden Corso Road in Nanaimo, BC when a driver in a blue pick up truck came up towards us travelling at least 20 kms/hour over the speed limit. The noise and the speed of the vehicle caused the horses to spook and bolt, throwing one rider to the pavement face first, concussing and knocking her out completely, and throwing myself into a large tree on the side of the road. Both of us were hospitalized because of this.
The driver did not stop, and we have no idea who it was. Is there some way we can get this story out?
Consider it publicised!
