When driving the Coquihalla highway this past Friday the 18th, I was rear ended by a small car. There was minor collision damage, two small paint scuffs from his license plate holder and there was no damage to his car.
I have a concern about the road between Port Alberni and the West Coast. When they redid the slow vehicle pullouts, they dressed them up to look exactly like passing lanes. Now everyone travels in those lanes. The only difference between the pullouts and passing lanes is that the pullouts don't have signs telling drivers that the lane is ending (why would it, it's not a travel or a passing lane - it's a slow vehicle pullout).
We had our Strata AGM last night and it was brought to our attention that there is an uninsured car parked in our underground parking. Could you please let me know the laws around this?
Sometimes you run across a vehicle in your patrols that has such serious defects that it should never have left the driveway. A Notice & Order #1 is the tool used by the police to remove the vehicle from the highway and keep it removed until it has been repaired and passed inspection.

QUESTION: I drive stretch limousine part time. One of the attractions of renting a stretch limo is for the customers being able to relax in the rear having a social drink in relative privacy (because the windows are heavily tinted and the barrier can be up to separate the driver from the guests) while a professional chauffeur cruises them around.
Question: I wonder if you can find any information regarding the rumble strips they cut into the asphalt between lanes. I can see some benefit in them in waking up a sleepy driver, mainly on the side of the road, but like on Hwy 6 from Vernon to Nakusp, there are a lot of corners and this rumble strip is annoying in that most people drive over it, which causes a lot of noise in your vehicle.
Question: My teen is an irresponsible driver and I am concerned enough at the danger they present to themselves and others that I want to withdraw my consent for them to have a driver's licence. How do I do that?
