Although this is an older case, dating from 2005, it is an interesting one. Brink's Canada managed to accrue some 101 parking tickets, likely in relation to their armoured car service within the City of Vancouver.
The lawyer representing Brink's was not disputing the parking tickets, he just wanted a break on the cost and cited a previous instance when Brink's had been successful.
Judicial Justice of the Peace Makhdoom did not agree and imposed a penalty of $200 for each parking where prohibited charge and $75 for each meter violation.
Time to pay of 3 months was granted.
