It looks like British Columbia's Immediate Roadside Prohibition (IRP) program is under a cloud again. In this case Mr. Justice B.C. MacKenzie is asked to stay a driving prohibition issued under the program to Tony Van Bree on May 23, 2015. The basis for the action is that the IRP legislation challenge has made its way to the Supreme Court of Canada and a decision on its validity in law is pending.
We are going on a drive through Canada and the US in a large motorhome that only has shoulder strap seatbelts for the driver and co-pilot. All other seatbelts are lap-belts only. My 7-year-old son requires a booster seat when we are in the car, but what do we do in the RV? Front seat? Back seat with booster? Back seat without booster?
We're facing one of the more serious forest fire seasons that British Columbia has seen in recent memory. In response to hearing the siren of an approaching fire engine, Cindy Li slowed in preparation to yield to it. While her vehicle was still moving, it was struck from behind by another car. She stopped, exited her car, walked back to the other car and spoke to the young male driver, requesting that he pull over to exchange information. QUESTION: I purchased a snowmobile in 2003 brand new from a Skidoo dealership in Kelowna. At that time I registered it with a ICBC and got a sticker. However, I never received any ownership papers. Is there any way to get that paperwork as I want to sell the machine.
